Brief introduction of morphological characteristics:

Commonly known as paddy field fish, fish-eyed girl, rice crucian carp, and jumping fish, it is a species of the crucian carp genus. The original Chinese crucian carp was considered to be a subspecies of the Japanese crucian carp, but they have now been separated. And the Taiwanese crucian carp, originally thought to be crucian carp, has now been classified as Chinese crucian carp. In Japan, there are many selectively bred paddy field fish, referred to as “Medaka”.
